\u0160umadija, situato nella parte centrale della Serbia, 140 km a sud di Belgrado.<\/p>\n<p>Si trova sulle rive del fiume Lepenica, in la conca tra i monti Rudnik, Crni Vrh e Gledi\u0107i.<\/p>\n<p>Prende il nome dall&#8217;uccello kraguj, che nel Medioevo veniva utilizzato per la caccia, e oggi occupa un posto d&#8217;onore sullo stemma della citt\u00e0 armi.<\/p>\n<p>Per molti versi la nostra citt\u00e0 pu\u00f2 essere definita &#8220;la prima in Serbia&#8221;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fu la prima capitale moderna dello stato serbo durante il regno del principe Milo\u0161 Obrenovi\u0107 (1818 &#8211; 1841)<\/li>\n<li>la prima costituzione fu adottata a Kragujevac nel febbraio 1835 a Sretenje,<\/li>\n<li>il primo giornale stampato in Serbia fu stampato a Kragujevac nel gennaio 1834 (Novine serbske) <\/li>\n<li>vi fu fondata la prima palestra del Principato di Serbia (nel 1833 )<\/li>\n<li>la prima universit\u00e0 (Liceo nel 1838)<\/li>\n<li>il primo teatro (nel 1834)< \/li>\n<li>il primo tribunale (nel 1820)<\/li>\n<li >la prima libreria (1834)<\/li>\n<li>il primo museo<\/li>\n<li>la prima farmacia nel 1822 (rappresenta il all&#8217;inizio della medicina citt\u00e0. Una cicatrice che non si rimarginer\u00e0 mai \u00e8 sicuramente la fucilazione di massa della popolazione civile il 21 ottobre 1941, tra cui studenti dagli 8 ai 15 anni. <\/p>\n<p>Il parco commemorativo &#8220;Kragujevac October&#8221; \u00e8 un complesso commemorativo costruito in memoria delle vittime innocenti di quello sfortunato evento. Passeggiando per questo parco, incontrerete numerosi monumenti, tra i quali il pi\u00f9 famoso \u00e8 il &#8220;Monumento agli alunni fucilati&#8221; notoriamente &#8220;V3&#8221;. Il blocco spaccato di cemento bianco rappresenta il numero romano V, che si trasforma in un uccello con le ali spezzate ed evoca simbolicamente la giovinezza stroncata nel momento in cui stava per svilupp\u00f2 sempre di pi\u00f9 e alla crescita industriale e allo sviluppo della citt\u00e0 contribu\u00ec principalmente la produzione automobilistica. &#8220;Zastava&#8221; era il pi\u00f9 grande produttore dei Balcani, la cui apertura ha contribuito all&#8217;immigrazione di massa della popolazione.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;unico in Serbia ad avere due laghi nel centro della citt\u00e0: Bubanj e \u0160umarice. Sulle rive del fiume Lepenica, che divide la citt\u00e0 in due parti, furono costruiti sette ponti.
